As always, we had a week full of entertaining activities. Besides, we took a trip to Istanbul Modern to see the art exhibition. And since our theme was "Plants" we did some other activities such as potato observation and planting vegetables to our school garden.

First, we started the lesson by distinguishing the fruits and vegetables from each other. We learned their names, and divided them  into two groups as fruits and vegetables.

                 This is  the Fruits' s Group !!

And this one is the Vegetable' s!!!

Then, we came one by one and drew either a food or a vegetable picture on our board.

After learning which food belongs to which group, we drew, coloured and cut them out of paper and prepared our fruit and vegetable book.

Matthew is thinking about which color to start with.

Avşin is trying to complete her book.

It is time to cut for Ege.

Here as you can see, we are doing our potato activity by observing and counting the eyes (spots) on them.
